Bio
I'm a lifelong Seacoast resident, and not long after graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2009 with a degree in journalism, I had the honor of working for my hometown daily newspaper, Foster's Daily Democrat. I spent almost two years as the Somersworth, Rollinsford and Southern Maine beat reporter, forming some great personal and work relationships along the way.
I've won some journalism awards during my relatively short career — which also features several years in a variety of editorial roles at UNH's student paper, The New Hampshire — although I'm not the type of person to gloat about those achievements.
I became a journalist because I love talking with people. I really enjoy listening to their stories, joking around with complete strangers, and just being out in the community and writing about everything going on.
In addition to being a writer, I also happen to be a musician and a rabid hockey fan. I love playing out on stage and listening to music, watching and playing hockey, watching movies, reading novels, and spending time with friends and family.
