Before becoming a Patch editor, I was a freelance writer.  Before that, I received my Bachelors degree from the University at Buffalo and Masters degree from New York University. After a brief stint in higher education, I served as the communications director for the National Academy Foundation, a national nonprofit in New York City. I love living in Northern Westchester, and think it is a special corner of the world.  If I could just import a Wegmans from Rochester, life would be complete.  I live in Cross River with my husband, Jonathan, and two children, Maxwell and Amanda, who both attend school in the Katonah Lewisboro district.

88 works of art on display at the Katonah Museum of Art were selected from almost 700 works submitted by artists in the tri-state area, including several from the Lower Hudson Valley, for a juried art show now exhibiting at the Katonah Museum of Art.
