The corner of Backlick Road and Little River Turnpike in Annandale is starting to look a little less empty.
A metal structure for the incoming Walgreens drugstore now sits on part of the former site of Fuddruckers, the popular hamburger restaurant that closed last April.
Back in June, Robert Elfinger, a spokesperson for Walgreens, told Patch construction should be finished before the end of summer.
Once complete, the Walgreens will be open 24/7 and have a drive-thru pharmacy.
