CVS Finalizes Construction on New West Annandale Area Store

By the looks of things, the new CVS located at 3921 Prosperity Ave., will open this month as planned.

Much of the remaining construction, with the exception of some interior and landscaping is complete, according to a construction worker on site.

Back in March, Mike DeAngelis, director of public relations for CVS, told Patch the store hoped to open in April after months of delays due to permit approvals and unexpected site cleanup construction.

CVS began construction on the new store site in early 2012 and originally planned to open in September 2012.
