• Annandale Instructional Assistant Charged With Assault After Student Comes Forward: Police (dailyvoice.com) — An Annandale High School instructional assistant has been charged with simple assault after police investigated a report that a student was physically assaulted on campus. The employee, an Annandale resident, has been placed on administrative leave while Fairfax County detectives continue their work. Victim services staff are supporting the student, and police are asking anyone with additional information to contact them.
