New CVS in West Annandale Area Now Open

After more than a year of constructon, the latest CVS location in the Annandale area officially opened on Sunday.

According to an employee at the store, the store opened with little fanfare, but had seen a solid amount of customers throughout the day who noticed the "now open" signs posted out front and chose to stop in.

The store is located at 3921 Prosperity Ave., in Fairfax just outside of Annandale and west of the beltway. It's a full-service CVS and includes a drive-thru and a 24-hour pharmacy.

Additionally, the store will be the third CVS store in the Annandale area.
