Week Ahead: Fundraiser in Bailey's Crossroads, Paul McCartney Tribute, Downton Abbey Tea Party
Here are five things you need to know in Annandale this week.

Feeling charitable? There will be a fundraising event and silent auction for the Bailey's Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, July 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Dogfish Head Alehouse, located at 6220 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church. Donations will be used to buy a new ambulance and support the BXVFD.
Paul McCartney to perform in Annandale? Sort of. If you missed McCartney's performance at Nationals Park earlier this month, you can still enjoy "Speed of Sound, the Paul McCartney Experience" performed by tribute band Jed Duvall at Mason District Park on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free.
The Joseph's Coat Thrift Store closing sale is now at 75 percent off. The thrift store, which benefits the Bethany House of Northern Virginia, Inc., announced its plans to close back in June.
The Wakefield Run restoration project is now underway. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, July 24 at 10 a.m. at the Audrey Moore RECenter. Refreshments will be served.
