In Case You Hear Gunfire in Fairfax City This Week...
Gunfire may be audible in the city limits all week, July 22-26 - find out why.
The City of Fairfax issued a statement Monday, July 22 cautioning locals that they may hear gunfire in the city limits this week, July 22-26.
The City of Fairfax Police Department will be holding "active shooter training" from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday this week on the Fairfax High School campus, 3501 Rebel Run.
"The sound of this exercise may be audible to people outside the school grounds," the statement indicated.
