Man Arrested in Dolce Vita Break-In Now Charged with Church Burglary

The suspect is now charged with breaking into and stealing items from Christ Lutheran Church.

The man who was charged in mid-February with a Dolce Vita burglary and grand larceny is now facing accusations that link him to a January burglary at Christ Lutheran Church.

Gregory Allen Madden, 21, of Fredericksburg was recently charged with the church burglary, according to the Fairfax City Police Department. Police say he allegedly forced his way into the church sometime between Jan. 14-15, broke a key box to get inside church offices and left with a project, three sets of headphones and alcohol.

The Criminal Investigations Division sought Madden last week for allegedly breaking into Dolce Vita with an accomplice and stealing cash, multiple bottles of alcohol and a digital cash register. He was arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center last on Feb. 16.
