Roads Reopen Following Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash In Fairfax
Fairfax County Police detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred midday Wednesday.

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Police reopened Prosperity Avenue and Morningside Drive near the Mantua neighborhood around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, after detectives finished processing the scene of a fatal single-vehicle crash, according to authorities.
The driver of the vehicle, who was describe as an adult male, was declared dead on the scene, according to a 12:46 p.m. post on FCPD's X account. The intersection was cordoned off for several hours to allow detectives from FCPD's crash reconstruction unit to process the scene.
