Police Investigate Shell Station Armed Robbery, Buffalo Wing University Attacks

Fairfax City police are looking into an armed robbery at a Shell gas station and an assault at Buffalo Wing University last week. Details:
- Seth Comstock, 28, of an unknown address was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly stealing items from his former roommate on Lyndhurst Drive. He was held at the Adult Detention Center at $3,000 bail.
- Police are searching for the man who held a Shell Service Station clerk at gunpoint and ran off with a handful of cash Thursday night. The suspect fled northbound from the Shell on Chain Bridge Road shortly before 10:40 p.m. The clerk was not injured.
- A 21-year-old Woodbridge man was in Buffalo Wing University's outdoor seating Thursday night when a stranger came up to him and hit him in the mouth with a bottle of beer. The suspect then punched a 24-year-old Burke man in the face and fled in a vehicle. The Woodbridge victim received medical and dental treatment for his injuries.
- Police are investigating a reported unauthorized purchase made with a Fairfax City man's bank check number. The purchase was made at a store in the Netherlands. Another city man's credit card number was used for a similar purchase earlier this month, this time in Ireland.
- Four vehicle owners woke Wednesday morning to find someone(s) had broken into their unlocked vehicles and taken cash, compact discs, a cell phone and a GPS unit. The crimes occured on the 10800 block of Orchard Street, and the 10700 and 10900 blocks of Warwick Avenue sometime after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
