Windows Broken at Unoccupied Home in Fairfax City: Police

Also in Tuesday's crime bulletin, a weed whacker is stolen from the back of a pickup and report of graffiti on car, driveway.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- Here's a look at recent crime in Fairfax City, from the crime bulletin released Tuesday by Fairfax City Police:

  • Larceny from Vehicle 16-09102: 11100 Block of Snughaven Lane- On May 28 at 12:45 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 9:30 PM on May 27 and 8:00 AM on May 28 unknown person(s) had stolen a string trimmer from the bed of his parked truck.
  • Vandalism 16-09220: 4000 Block of Orchard Drive – On May 30 at 3:02 AM officers checking the unoccupied house determined that unknown person(s) had broken the glass windows on two doors.
  • Vandalism 16-09227: 10600 Block of Springmann Drive – On May 30 at 6:18 AM a relative of the vehicle owner reported that sometime between May 22 and May 29 unknown person(s) had written on the vehicle with a black marker and also had written graffiti in the carport.
