Assistance League Welcomes New Members

The Nonprofit Provides Multiple Programs To Benefit Local Children In Need

Assistance League of Northern Virginia recently held a new member orientation at Peet’s Coffee Shop in Springfield. Four new members and five “seasoned” members gathered to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, learn a little more about each other, and find out what Assistance League is all about. New members were able to get information and ask questions about the nonprofit’s many programs and opportunities for supporting children in Northern Virginia public schools. The enthusiasm and positive energy were obvious, and everyone is looking forward to many good things to come.

Assistance League has members across Northern Virginia and serves Title 1 schools primarily located in Fairfax and Prince William Counties. See www.alnv.org for additional information on services provided and becoming a member.
