Chef Offers Cooking Classes at Osteria Marzano
Learn to cook some of Chef Carmine Marzano's best dishes.

Executive Chef Carmine Marzano is offering his cooking classes at Osteria Marzano located at 6361 Walker Lane, Suite 140. The restaurant — which Marzano co-owns — opened in the Kingstowne area back in June.
The next two cooking classes are scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 12 and 11 a.m. Oct. 26. The cost for the class is $85 per person, per class. Afterwards, participants are welcome to sit down and enjoy the meal they've created with the chef and indulge in a complimentary glass of champagne.
“I started cooking classes again because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of Italian cuisine. When you are young, you want to acquire knowledge more and more, all the time," said Marzano. "When you start to grow older, something more profound develops within you. At least that's what happened to me."
Marzano said he has come to love teaching and sharing his culinary arts passion with others.
"I think people learn more in an easy-going environment, so maybe with a glass of wine in hand, it will become easier," he said. "There will be hands on cooking classes, therefore that is why it is difficult to do with more than 15-20 people.”
