Go Ape Hosting 'Frights at Height' Adventure At South Run RECenter

SPRINGFIELD, VA — Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park, at the South Run RECenter in Springfield, is hosting several fall events in September and October, with the highlight being the brand-new Frights at Height horror-filled experience.

When the Frights at Height adventure begins on Oct. 7, guests will find zombies, ghosts and ghouls hiding in dark corners of the Treetop Journey zipline and ropes course.

"If you get an adrenaline rush from our ziplines and ropes courses, Frights at Height is truly going to get your heart pumping," said Jason Budden, COO of Go Ape USA. "Our mission is to help everyone live life adventurously, and this Halloween celebration will bring that adventure to a higher level."

Before Frights at Height kicks off in October, Go Ape is holding an appreciation month in September for all teachers, students, healthcare workers, first responders, military and their guests, who will get 10 percent off their reservation by using code SEPT10 when booking their reservations. Guests should show their ID when checking in at the Go Ape cabin.

Reservations can be made on the Go Ape website and are $39.95 per person for a one-hour "scream-filled adventure after dark."

Guests will find other Halloween-themed adventures through Halloween at the Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park, including the Treetop Adventure, Treetop Journey, and Monkey Drop activities. Go Ape will have candy, cobwebs, pumpkins and fun festivities throughout the fall.

Go Ape has 16 locations in the United States, including the Springfield location. The company partners with public park and forest preserve systems.
