Massage Therapist Facing Second Charge of Sexual Battery: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A massage therapist who used to work at the Massage Envy at 6465 Old Beulah St., is facing a second round of charges of alleged inappropriate touching of a client, Fairfax County Police said Wednesday.

Police have charged Nicholas Currie, 25, of the Alexandria area, for allegedly inappropriately touching a 25-year-old woman in December 2015, according to police.

The woman came forward after hearing about charges brought by another female client earlier this summer, police said. On Saturday, June 25, the second victim reported the December 2015 incident to police after learning about the original case that was released on June 2.

An investigation by police determined the woman visited the Massage Envy, located at 6465 Old Beulah St., at the Hilltop Village shopping center in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County, where she alleges that Currie touched her inappropriately, according to police. The victim did not require medical attention.

On Tuesday, officers obtained a warrant charging Nicholas Currie, 25, of Alexandria with sexual battery. Wednesday morning, around 9 a.m., Currie turned himself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where the warrant was served.
