Planned Track Work on Metro This Weekend
The Blue Line will be single tracking between Van Dorn and Franconia-Springfield.
Beginning tonight at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday night, trains will single track between Van Dorn Street and Franconia-Springfield stations for planned track work.
WMATA said in a statement, between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, every other train will end at the Van Dorn Street station instead of the Franconia-Springfield station. They urge travelers to allow for about an extra 15 minutes of travel time.
