- Fairfax County Manager Bryan Hill released an updated real estate assessment for 2023 during a presentation on Tuesday morning. The assessment estimates that homeowners in the county will see an average increase of 6.97 percent in real estate assessments and an increase of a little over $520 for the average tax bill. - A Fairfax County search-and-rescue team has returned home after helping search for survivors along the earthquake-affected Turkish-Syrian border.
