What does Thanksgiving look like for you? Visiting with loved ones? Watching parades and football? Enjoying the sights, smells, and flavors of some favorite foods? Help create these memories for one or more school families who struggle with food security. Donate to Food For Neighbors (FFN) to provide grocery gift cards so families may purchase the food they need most, like fresh fruits and vegetables.

More and more families are struggling to afford basic necessities, like rent and food. Your gift will help your neighbors put heartwarming, nutritious meals on their tables. The goal is to raise enough money to provide 1,100 $50 grocery store gift cards to 31 partnering Fairfax County and Loudoun County schools to distribute to their most vulnerable students.

Thanks to your giving spirit and that of thousands of other community members, FFN has grown to support 42 Northern Virginia middle and high schools, and that number continues to increase as more and more schools request help for their students. By the close of 2023, the grassroots nonprofit anticipates having donated $140,000 in grocery gift cards and over 100,000 pounds of food and toiletries for students in need. Join more than 2,700 food and toiletry donors and over 2,700 registered volunteers in making a direct impact on students in local schools.
