Assistant Coach Accused Of Sex Crimes Against Juvenile In Manassas
Manassas City Police have charged an assistant coach in connection with a sexual assault of a juvenile athlete.
MANASSAS, VA — An assistant coach is facing child sex crime charges related to a sexual assault of a juvenile athlete, Manassas City Police say.
Police began the investigation on Oct. 7 after a sexual assault of a juvenile athlete by an assistant coach was reported. According to police, the assault happened at Manassas Volleyball Club at 9406 Center Point Lane. Detectives found evidence of the sexual assault, including a photo of the juvenile in a compromised position.
Manassas Police arrested Richard Trevor Hill, 33, on Nov. 2 and charged him with taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in custodial or supervisory relationship, sexual battery, and two counts of unlawful creation of images of another. He was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
