Greater Manassas Christmas Parade 2025: Route, What To Know
The 79th annual parade is a favorite tradition in downtown Manassas. Here's what you need to know about attending and getting around.
MANASSAS, VA — Manassas will get in the Christmas spirit with a parade coming to downtown on Saturday.
The Greater Manassas Christmas Parade will take place in downtown Manassas at 10 a.m. Saturday. This year's parade theme is "Elfin' Around." It follows Friday's Santa Lights Manassas, the city's official holiday tree lightings. The parade is typically not cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
The parade typically draws thousands of participants, over 100 parade units and hundreds of volunteers. Participants include a range of marching bands, public officials, public safety departments, performers, organizations and more. This year's grand marshal is Sara Knight, who founded the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation in honor of her medically fragile daughter to serve families of children with medical needs. The parade also named Latin-American Artisans and Entrepreneurs Expo founder Maria Guzman as Woman of the Year and Great Eats Hospitality founder and CEO Miguel Pires as Man of the Year.
