Manassas Park Man, Dog Pronounced Dead In Yorkshire Crash: Police
Prince William County Police say a driver attempting to pass other vehicles was killed in a crash Wednesday morning.

MANASSAS, VA — A man and dog died in a crash Wednesday morning in the Yorkshire area, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Old Centreville Road and Parkland Street. Police say a 2004 Honda Accord driver heading north on Old Centreville Rd at a high rate of speed was attempting to pass other vehicles. At one point, the driver was entering a turn in the opposite travel lane and struck a southbound 2021 Ford F150.
The Honda driver and a Yorkie found in the vehicle were pronounced dead. The driver was identified as Diego Salazar Rodriguez, 34, of Manassas Park.

The Ford driver, a 65-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Crash investigators ask witnesses to contact police at 703-792-6500 or submit a tip online at pwcva.gov/policetip.
