New businesses, including a speakeasy social club, will celebrate ribbon cuttings in the coming weeks around Manassas.

MANASSAS, VA — A new year has started, and it's time to celebrate some new businesses opening around Manassas.
Some businesses that have opened or will soon open will have ribbon cuttings hosted by the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. Below are more details on the businesses and ribbon cuttings.
The Meredith House

On Jan. 10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Meredith House will have a ribbon cutting to celebrate its transition into a high-end social club. According to the City of Manassas economic development department, The Meredith House is in a 1890s grand Tudor mansion that was renovated over two years by Loveless Porter Architects to provide spaces for meetings, events and gatherings. The renovated space seeks to provide a speakeasy atmosphere for business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to connect.
"Our vision is to offer a venue that encourages networking and collaboration, providing an environment where business leaders can thrive," Sean Porter of Loveless Porter Architects said via an economic development newsletter.

Porter is working with Let Them Eat Cake chef Donnella Pearson to provide a small plate menu and Valerie Meale as community engagement specialist. According to the city's economic development department, the social club will have a selection of premium spirits to include exclusive private labels.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Bring your appetites to the ribbon cutting of Nothing Bundt Cakes at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 7. Nothing Bundt Cakes opened on Dec. 21 in time for the holidays. The bakery is known for its Bundt Cakes, Bundtlets, and Bundtinis and has locations around the DC region.

Workout Anytime
In time for fitness-minded New Year's resolutions, Workout Anytime is open in Manassas and will have a ribbon cutting on Jan. 7 at 4:30 p.m. Brave Williams, a recording artist and actress who has toured with Beyonce, opened the location as part of a franchise deal for 23 locations. The gym 24-hour membership-based facility with amenities like state-of-the-art Matrix gym equipment, an infrared sauna, massage chairs, tanning units and more.

Training Ed
Training Ed will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening on Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. This studio is located on Liberia Avenue and offers personal training services.

Scaffolding Solutions
Scaffolding Solutions will celebrate the opening of its new location at 8643 Phoenix Drive in Manassas. The company provides scaffolding services for construction projects with a focus on safety and OSHA standards. Other areas served include the Richmond, Hampton Roads, Raleigh and Charlotte areas. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Jan. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
