Davio’s Pastry Chef Leads Gingerbread House Decorating Party In Reston

RESTON, VA — Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Reston is throwing a gingerbread house party. Pastry chef Chris Works will be presenting a one-of-a-kind workshop for children of all ages on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“Chef Works will lead the demonstration and workshop, teaching children how to decorate personalized gingerbread houses fit for the North Pole,” according to a release. “The event is $55 per child (excluding tax and gratuity) and adult admission is free. Each participating child will receive one gingerbread house to decorate (with delectable decorations included), hot chocolate and lunch.”

While listening to holiday music, participants will be able to personally trim their gingerbread houses with an array of candies, icing and edible decorations. A hot chocolate station will be located nearby to provide the decorators with refreshments.

Kid’s Lunch Station includes: Cheese & Tomato Pizza; Cheese, Tomato & Pepperoni Pizza; Crispy; Chicken Sliders; Kobe Beef Sliders; Chicken Fingers and French Fries.
