Driver In Herndon Hit And Run Flees To Fairfax Co.
A pedestrian was seriously injured when they were struck by a black sedan early Thursday on Van Buren Street in Herndon, police say.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon police are looking for the driver of a black sedan that struck a pedestrian early Thursday morning and then fled into Fairfax County, according to a 2:20 a.m. post on HPD's official X account.
The pedestrian was struck on Van Buren Street between Elden and Monroe streets, according to police. The driver then fled east on Elden Street into Fairfax County. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a black sedan with front-end damage. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call HPD's non-emergency number: 703-435-6846.
