- 29th Annual Del Ray Halloween Parade - Starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 at East Bellefonte Avenue, the parade continues down Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria. Children, pets are invited to show off their costumes during this popular annual event. At the parade's end, an award presentation will take place at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center.
- Vienna Halloween Parade - Hosted annually by the Town of Vienna since 1946, the Halloween Parade marches down Maple Avenue starting at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
- Madhunter's Madhouse - Billed as the "DMV's Scariest Haunted Trail," Madhunter's Madhouse opens with a preview night on Saturday, Sept. 27 and runs Friday-Sunday through Nov. 1. Madhunter's Madhouse is located at 37658 Legard Farm Road in Purcellville.
- Factory of Fear: The Horror Hotel - Preview night for Factory of Fear is Thursday, Oct. 16. The hotel will be open for visitors Friday and Saturday, from 7 to 11 p.m., through Oct. 25. Recommended for children 14 and older, the hotel is located at 9419 Battle St. in Manassas.
- Dead Whispers Haunted Attraction - The 2025 Haunt is open 6 to 10 p.m., Oct. 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and Nov. 1, with a family day scheduled for 12 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 26. The event blends entertainment and fear-inducing scenarios. Dead Whispers is located at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds, 2400 Airport Ave., in Fredericksburg.
