International Dog Day Celebrated By Reston Dog Lovers
Patch asked our readers to submit photos of their favorite pooches to celebrate International Dog Day.

RESTON, VA — Every dog has its day. Today is that day.
Thursday is International Dog Day. To help celebrate the event, Patch asked readers in Reston to share photos of their precious pups for our special dog-day photo gallery.
It was only fair to reach out to dog owners for the holiday since we extended the same invitation to cat owners to celebrate International Cat Day on Aug. 6. We received so many that we had to do a second gallery.
