Reston Makes List of Country's Top 100 Places to Live

Reston's dynamic economy, its commitment to the arts and wildlife preservation, and numerous attractions won it a place on this list.

The study, conducted in partnership with The Initiative for Creativity and Innovation in Cities at New York University’s Schools of Professional Studies, says Reston's mix of high-tech industries like advanced manufacturing and scientific research, coupled with the community's commitment to the arts and wildlife preservation, make it a highly desirable place to live in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.

Many of Reston's attractions like Lake Fairfax Park and the W&OD walking/running/bicycling trail also helped the area's ranking, as well as its "walkability" score.
