Reston Mini Storage Making Way for $100 Million Apartment Building: 1 Year Ago
Take a look at one of Reston Patch's most popular stories from one year ago this weekend.

The countdown is on, if you still are storing things at Reston Mini Storage. The Reston business has been around since 1978 and will close its doors for good by Nov. 1. The company has sent out notices to residents who are storing items there.
The business has worked through the years not only with area residents but also offering comp storage to area non-profits as well.
Once the business is closed, the storage buildings will be demolished and owner Chuck Veatch Jr. will turn his attention to developing the property into a 421-unit apartment building. The apartment building is being designed by KTGY and will be built by Bozzuto. Veatch is president of Charles A. Veatch Co., a commercial real estate company in Reston.
