RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a home in Reston Sunday evening after receiving a report of smoke coming from the solar panels on the residence's roof, according to authorities.

Firefighters were able to confine the fire to the roof of the home in the 2300 block of Colts Neck Road and quickly bring the fire under control, according to a 6:54 p.m. post on the department's X account.

No injuries of fire personnel or members of the public were reported. The cause of the fire and extent of damage was not reported.
