Police Reports: Cars and Bikes Stolen, Breaking and Entering, and Thefts from Vehicles
The following crimes from July 22 through Aug. 1 were reported by the Alexandria Police Department via crimereports.com.

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents.
August 1 – An assault was reported and an arrest was made in the 4000 block of Wheeler Avenue.
July 31 – A burglary and breaking and entering was reported in the 2400 block of King Street.

July 30 – A man reported that his bicycle was stolen form the 1200 block of Quaker Lane while it was unattended in front of his apartment building as he was carrying groceries to his apartment.
July 29 – A woman reported that her car had been ransacked and her iPad stolen from her car parked in the 1300 block of Cleveland Street.

July 29 – A woman reported missing her wallet that she may have accidentally left at a store in the 3600 block of King Street.
July 26 – A breaking and entering incident was reported in the block of N. Howard Street after a woman reported an envelope containing money was missing from her apartment.
July 26 – An unattended cell phone was stolen off a desk in a library in the 5000 block of Duke Street.
July 26 – Unknown suspects forced entry into the locked concierge room at a condominium located in the 2800 block of Park Center Drive and stole four televisions.
July 26 – Checks and cash that were to be deposited at a bank were stolen from a vehlce parked in the 2600 block of Ridge Road.
July 25 – A theft from a vehicle was reported on East Taylor Run Parkway.
July 22 – A vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Skyhill Road.
July 22 – Three bicycles were stolen from the 800 block of Skyhill Road. They were parked in the carport of the bicycle owner’s residence.
