I-95 Closures at Telegraph Road and Other Lane Changes

The 95 Express Lanes Project will include nighttime work between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Closures occur between 11 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

I-395/95 reversible HOV lanes from Dumfries Rd. (Route 234) to Duke St. (Route 236) - Road closed Monday – Thursday nights from 8 p.m.  to 5 a.m. for excavation, backfill, barrier demolition and conduit installation. Traffic will be directed to use the general purpose lanes.

I-395/95 reversible HOV lanes from Just north of Edsall Rd. to Route 1 - Road closed Friday and Saturday nights from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. Traffic will be directed to use the general purpose lanes.

I-95 south from Exit 152, Dumfries Rd. (Route 234) to Telegraph Road overpass - Two lanes closed Monday - Friday nights for bridge work and pavement markings. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight. 

95 EXPRESS LANES PROJECT

•I-95 south ramp to Exit 161, Route 1 - Ramp closed Monday - Fridaynights for steel beam work. Traffic will be directed to continue south and take Exit 158, Prince William Pkwy (Route 249) east and follow signs to Route 1. 

• I-95 north from Pohick Rd. overpass to I-495 - Three lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for ground work. 

• I-95 north and south between I-495 and Exit 158, Prince William Pkwy. (Route 294) - Single lane closed Monday - Saturday nights for survey, ground work, barrier movement, and excavation. Closure will not be more than two miles. 

• I-95 north and south from Exit 158, Prince William Pkwy. (Route 294) to Cardinal Dr. overpass- Single lane closed Monday - Friday nights for ground work. 

• I-95 north and south between Cardinal Dr. overpass  to Exit 143, Garrisonville Rd. (Route 610) - Single lane closed Monday - Saturdaynights for ground work.

• I-95 north at Telegraph Rd. overpass - Two lanes closed Sunday -Wednesday nights for steel beam installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.  

• I-395 north and south between I-495 and Exit 4, Seminary Rd. (Route 420) - Single lane closed Monday - Saturday nights for barrier, foundation, ground and drainage work.

• I-395 south from Exit 4, Seminary Rd. (Route 420) to Exit 2, Edsall Rd. (Route 648) - Two right lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for barrier work.

• I-395 north from I-495 to Exit 4, Seminary Rd. (Route 420) - Two lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for ground work.

• Franconia-Springfield Pkwy. (Route 289) east and west at I-95 - Single lane closed Monday - Friday nights for survey and demolition work. 

• Loisdale Rd. north and south at the Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 286)- Single lane closed Monday - Saturday nights for ground work. 

• Furnace Rd. at I-95 - Two lanes closed Monday - Friday nights night for steel beam installation. Expect intermittent full road closures for up to 30 minutes after midnight. 

• Gordon Blvd. (Route 123) east and west at I-95 - Single lane closes Monday - Saturday nights for ground work.
