Vehicle Crash Causes Thousands Of Power Outages In Alexandria

Dominion Energy's outage map showed a vehicle crash resulted in over 3,100 outages Monday afternoon.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Thousands of Dominion Energy customers in Alexandria are experiencing power outages due to a vehicle crash Monday.

According to Dominion Energy's outage map, over 3,100 lost power in the West End, largely between Interstate 395 to the north and Duke Street to the south.

Crews were on the scene to assess damage, and most outages were restored as of 5 p.m. Monday.
