4-Year-Old Injured In Milwaukee Hit And Run; SUV Sought: Police

A child was hospitalized after a vehicle struck her as she was crossing the street near 3rd and Nash Streets Friday, police said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A four-year-old was critically injured in Milwaukee on Friday when a vehicle hit her as she was crossing the street, according to police.

The child was crossing the street in the 3700 block of North 3rd Street around 5:45 p.m. when she was hit and left with critical injuries, police said.

The vehicle fled the scene and the child was hospitalized, police said. Police said they are looking for unknown suspects and a tan SUV.
