Enderis Park Farmers Market Announces Second Year Opening On June 11th

The park opened in 2016 and announced Tuesday it would be back for a second year due to popular demand.

MILWAUKEE - After a successful opening season in 2016, the Enderis Park Farmers Market announced Tuesday that it would be back for a second year on Sunday, June 11, due to popular demand.

The farmers market is an open-air market on Milwaukee's west side opened last year as a collaboration between the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association and the Milwaukee Public Schools Recreation Department. The market is intended to provide residents access to locally-grown fruits and vegetables, and foster relationships between neighbors and their local food growers and producers.

The Enderis Park Farmers Market is located at Enderis Playfield, between Chambers and Locust to the north and south, and 70th and 72nd to the east and west. This year's sponsors include WaterStone Bank, Sentry on 71st and Lisbon, and Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown.
