Fireworks, parades and other events are planned for July 4 in parks in the City of Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Make up for lost time at this year's Independence Day celebration with a trip to the zoo, by attending a baseball game or watching Milwaukee's big fireworks show at Veteran's Park. Patch has put together a guide to fireworks and festivities near you in 2022.

Milwaukee Lakefront Fireworks 2022 @ Veteran's Park

Lakefront Fireworks is a 45-minute fireworks display planned at Veteran's Park around 9:30 p.m. on July 3, according to the event website. American Family Insurance, the Kelben Foundation, Inc. and Town Bank will co-present the show.
Fireworks Across The City Of Milwaukee
A total of 12 Milwaukee parks will hold different celebrations, ranging from parades, free snacks and fireworks. July 4 festivities will be held in the following parks.

- Dr. M. L. King, Jr. Park
- Lake Park
- Lincoln Park (fireworks only)

Brewers Vs. Cubs Game @ American Family Field
Kids under 14 and seniors over 60 get a 50 percent discount on tickets to watch the Milwaukee Brewers face off with the Chicago Cubs at American Family Field on July 4 at 3:10 p.m., according to the MLB schedule. You can buy tickets here.
$4 On The Fourth @ Milwaukee County Zoo
The Milwaukee County Zoo will charge all visitors $4 to visit on July 4. Parking fee and concession fees still apply.
