Mitchell Interchange Opens After Semi Rollover Crash

MILWAUKEE, WI — The ramp between Interstate 41 and Interstate 94 reopened around 4 p.m. Wednesday after a tractor trailer crash closed the freeway, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office announced.

A driver had minor injuries in the crash and the westbound to southbound portion of the Mitchell Interchange, northwest of General Mitchell International Airport, closed from 1-4 p.m., the sheriff's office said.

According to traffic website 511WI, the ramp from I-41 east to I-94 south was closed because of a crash. Traffic was diverted to Interstate 43 North, the sheriff's office said.
