Summerfest Announces Closing Ampitheater Show Outlaw Music Festival July 9 With Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow

MILWAUKEE - Summerfest announced Tuesday that the Outlaw Music Festival will close out Summerfest's 50th anniversary on July 9 with Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan and His Band, and Sheryl Crow headlining.

The star-studded Outlaw Music Festival at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater brings folk, rock, country and blues to the fest, and also features Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Margo Price, and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.

Nelson is no stranger to Summerfest, first performed in 1977 and made his most recent appearance last year at the BMO Harris Pavilion. He also performed in 2009 at Summerfest with Bob Dylan.

Milwaukee World Festival, which runs Summerfest, says this is the first time in its 50-year history that Summerfest has brought a "festival within a festival" to the grounds.

Doors open at 1 p.m., with music from 2 to 11 p.m. Ticketed guests are welcome to leave the amphitheater to enjoy Summerfest activities and return throughout the show.

Tickets range from $101 for lawn seats to $867 for front row reserved seats. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21, and include admission to Summerfest. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest box office in person or by phone at (414) 273-2600, at Ticketmaster ticket centers, Walmart stores, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at (800) 745-3000 (live agent) or (866) 448-7849 (automated phone line). Presale will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, or until presale tickets are sold.

Summerfest, dubbed as "The World's Largest Music Festival," will take place June 28 to July 2, and July 4 to 9 on Milwaukee's lakefront. For more information, visit www.summerfest.com.
