Two Rivers Has Coolest AirBnB In Wisconsin: Condé Nast Traveler
A Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house near Manitowoc was picked in a 2021 national roundup of coolest Airbnbs.

WISCONSIN — A four bedroom house in Two Rivers was selected as Wisconsin's coolest Airbnb, as Condé Nast Traveler put together a list of Airbnbs in all 50 states. The top listings are run by a Superhost with a 4.8 rating or higher.
The Airbnb is a massive modern house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright sitting a mile from Lake Michigan. This swanky pad has red brick interior and exterior walls, wooden ceilings and was featured in a 1938 issue of Life magazine.
Condé Nast Traveler's list of coolest Airbnbs include a Bywater mansion in New Orleans dating back to the 1880s and a prefab metal caterpillar dome house in Detroit.

The Airbnb in Two Rivers has a 63-foot-long living room, a time capsule library and is great during all seasons, the Airbnb hosts said.
Because renting the house was meant to be experienced as it was completed in 1940, the house doesn't have air conditioning, the Airbnb hosts said. However, climate conditions caused by Lake Michigan keeps the town about 15 degrees cooler than inland and the house has fans and screened windows when it becomes warm.

Renters can enhance their vintage experience by visiting Machut's Supper Club for a roasted chicken dinner and an old fashioned, Condé Nast Traveler added.
