California Wine Festival To Return To Carlsbad
The two-day festival will showcase the Golden State's wine offerings.
CARLSBAD, CA — California Wine Festival is returning to San Diego County.
The two-day event, slated June 28-29 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, will feature wines paired with gourmet appetizers from some of North San Diego County's top restaurants, as well as lifestyle exhibitors and live entertainment. The festival will spotlight rare and reserve vintages and well-known bottles from California's best vineyards.
"We founded this event in hopes that wine enthusiasts can engage with representatives from wineries that they already know and love, while also discovering new wines that they've never heard of," said Emily Kaufmann, executive director of California Wine Festival. "Our guests can discover crisp, refreshing whites to full-bodied reds from regions as far south as Temecula to as far north as Mendocino County without having to travel far from home."

The wine-tasting experience continues the following day with the Beachside Wine Festival on Park Hyatt Aviara Resort's Heron Lawn.
Live entertainment will include former "American Idol" finalist Adam Lasher on Friday and Upstream, a reggae, calypso, soca and steel drum band, on Saturday.
