Carlsbad Celebrates Opening of Advanced DISC Surgery Center
The event's 250+ attendees included Tri-City and TriasMD leadership, athletes, top doctors and other local VIPs.
On Friday, May 9, more than 250 people from Carlsbad and surrounding communities attended the grand opening celebration for the state-of-the-art DISC Surgery Center at Carlsbad. The event -- co-hosted by DISC Surgery Center, Tri-City Medical Center and Modern Luxury San Diego -- provided a first-look tour of the custom-built outpatient facility that will expand North County's access to minimally invasive spine surgery and musculoskeletal care.
The new 12,000-square-foot surgery center features three operating suites fully integrated with surgical and motion preservation technology, including the latest in microscopes, imaging, navigation and orthopedic and spine robotics.
Attendees of the celebration included Tri-City and TriasMD leadership, athletes like Olympian Guenter Seidel (dressage) and some of the region’s top spine and orthopedic surgeons, who will see patients at the new facility.
