Carlsbad Senior Living Launches Signature Travel Program

Kisco Senior Living, based out of Carlsbad, now offers a travel program for residents to visit other communities nationwide.

CARLSBAD, CA — A resident travel program was unveiled for Carlsbad-centered Kisco Senior Living, allowing residents the ability to travel between their sister communities.

According to its website, the Carlsbad-based senior living community operates 32 senior living communities in 10 states. Its communities offer assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation.

CEO Andy Kohlberg said in a recent statement that residents will be able to travel and explore new places within that organization.

The travel program will give residents the opportunity to spend three nights a year at one of several Kisco locations, including the Cardinal at North Hills in Raleigh, NC, the Carnegie at Washington Center in Gaithersburg, MD, the Newburg of Brookline in Massachusetts, and the Fitzgerald of Palisades in Washington, DC.

While away, the residents will receive a continental breakfast and complimentary dinner in their destination community and also enjoy visits to local shops, restaurants, and historic sites.

“As someone who loves to travel and explore new places, I am particularly excited about this program,” Kohlberg said. “It allows our residents to discover new destinations while enjoying the same high standards of care and service they expect from Kisco.”

The Kisco travel program is part of a growing trend by senior living providers to expand travel offerings to residents.
