Carlsbad's TGIF Concerts Continue Through August: What's Next For Concerts In The Park

The City of Carlsbad has more in store for residents through July and into August, after taking a brief pause for July 4th.

CARLSBAD, CA — On Friday, head back to Stagecoach Community Park for some live music and family-friendly summer fun.

Starting at 4 p.m., residents and visitors are invited to roll out your beach blankets and chairs at Stagecoach Community Park, located at 3420 Camino De Los Coches.

The concert site opens to the public at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m. with a brief 15-minute intermission at 8 p.m.

The band, The Reflexx, is a Southern California classic alternative experience that will send you back to early 91X radio days. "From slammed clubs to huge festival stages, The Reflexx delivers the powerhouse hits of Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, Duran Duran, The Cure, INXS and more."

At the concert grounds, parking is limited, so be sure to take advantage of the new complimentary bike valet service at each concert location, the city advised.

"The bike valet is similar to a car valet but for your bikes. The free service will be offered at each TGIF concert location, so you can enjoy the shows even faster."

Calavera Hills Community Park

  • July 25, Kimba Light (Cumbia)
  • Aug. 1, Shakedown String Band (Americana/jam band)
  • Aug. 8, The Honeydrops (doo-wop, rockabilly from 40s-60s)


Alga Norte Community Park

  • Aug. 15, Wayward Sons (power chord rock nostalgia)
  • Aug. 22, Euphoria Brass Band (modern New Orleans-style jazz)

The gates open at 4 p.m. with concerts from 6 to 8 p.m.
