'Discovery Days' Summer Event Series To Return To The Forum Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA — School is out for summer, but children can continue to learn and have fun during Discovery Days at The Forum Carlsbad.

The free, family-friendly series, which returns in July, is designed to ignite creativity and curiosity in children.

"Every week, Discovery Days offer something unique for kids to explore and create," said Trish Pruitt, vice president of marketing for Northwood Retail, which operates The Forum Carlsbad. "We are proud to offer families a community space to engage, gather, and spark creativity during the summer season."

Each week will feature a different theme, from patriotic fun to pirate adventures, giving families a new reason to explore and visit all summer long.

Events include an Independence Day Celebration on July 3, Luau Adventure on July 10, Out Of This World on July 17, Ahoy Matey Pirate Day on July 24, and Summer Rocks on July 31.

Discovery Days will be held from 10 a.m. to noon every Thursday in July at The Forum Carlsbad at 1905 Calle Barcelona. The event series will take place in the outdoor shopping mall's garden area near YETI.

Crafts are limited to one per guest, while supplies last. Adult supervision is required.
