Legoland California Debuts Lego Halloween Tree Ahead Of Brick-Or-Treat

The Carlsbad-based theme park's largest brick-built creation is the centerpiece of this year's Brick-or-Treat.

CARLSBAD, CA — Legoland California Resort has debuted a brand-new boo-tastic creation ahead of Halloween.

The Halloween Tree is the Carlsbad-based theme park's largest Lego creation by brick count, according to Legoland. Five master model builders used 680,963 Lego bricks and spend more than 4,000 hours to make the larger-than-life Lego tree for this year's Brick-or-Treat celebration.

The 17-foot-tall and 12-foot-wide Halloween Tree comes to life with moving eyes and eyebrows that follow guests as they enter the park. The tree, accompanied by Halloween-themed audio, features twinkling lights, cobwebs, ghosts and playful pumpkins, making it a festive highlight of Brick-or-Treat.

Brick-or-Treat, Legoland's family-friendly Monster Party, will run on select dates from Sept. 20 through Nov. 1. The park's signature Halloween event will feature candy stations, character meet-and-greets, live shows and not-so-scary-themed takes on fan-favorite attractions.

Festivities are included with general park admission and select annual passes.
