The festival was created to encourage families to play more on an epic scale in the lead up to World Play Day on June 11, according to Legoland officials.

"It's time to power up your play and let imaginations run wild by taking part in our first-ever Lego Festival," said Emily Stadelman, global brand director for Legoland Resorts.
