Parakeet Café Opens New Location In North County

CARLSBAD, CA — Parakeet Café recently opened its newest location in San Diego's North County.

The eatery opened its doors over the weekend at The Forum Carlsbad, according to Northwood Retail, which operates the outdoor shopping center. Parakeet Café serves health-conscious food, coffee, tea and freshly baked goods prepared with organic and locally sourced ingredients.

"At Parakeet Café, we invite people to explore the incredible potential of food and savor real dishes crafted from high-quality, locally sourced, organic ingredients," said Carol Goldwasser, president of Parakeet Café. "Our purpose is to share the holistic lessons we've learned about diverse and nutrient-rich food with others."

The menu, which includes all-day brunch, features bowls, sandwiches, soups, salads and more. Drinks include a variety of coffee beverages, herbal teas, wellness lattes, as well as a selection of mimosas, beers and wines.

Parakeet Café also has nearby locations in Coronado, Del Mar, La Jolla and San Diego.

The Parakeet Café in Carlsbad is located at 1935 Calle Barcelona, Suite 176. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
