4,000 Hayward Customers Without Power After Car Crashes into Power Pole

The collision was reported at about 4:45 a.m.

Hayward, CA— Close to 4,000 people in Hayward are without power this morning after a vehicle crashed into a power pole.

PG&E is reporting approximately 3,998 people are currently without power.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Hathaway and Lansing streets and was first reported around 4:45 a.m.
