Jordan Vigil Viewing, Funeral Services Set For This Week
A vigil and viewing will be held this evening while a mass, burial and memorial reception will occur on Thursday for Jordan Vigil, a Hayward man found dead in a Castro Valley garage earlier this month.
Funeral services for a slain Hayward man are planned for this week.
Family, friends and the community are invited to gather both today and tomorrow to remember
On Wednesday, May 30, a viewing will be held at Holy Angels Funeral Center from 5 to 8:30 p.m. with a vigil starting at 6 p.m. The center is located at 1051 Harder Rd. in Hayward.

A mass will follow on Thursday, May 31 at St. Bede Catholic Church starting at 11 a.m. The church is at 26950 Patrick Ave., Hayward. Vigil be burried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery right after.
Those attending the procession are welcomed to attend the memorial reception at San Felipe Community Center Park and Hall, 2058 D St. in Hayward afterwards.

Two fundraisers were held for Vigil by family and friends prior to these servies. while a to his mother Marilyn Vigil.
She said they are planning on holding another fundraiser in the near future, but this time, proceeds will go towards trust funds for his two sons, Jordan Vigil Jr., 13, and Joseph Romero, 3.
Vigil is survived by his mother Marilyn Vigil, his siblings, Dominic Vigil, Katie Cree and Jennifer Lachenmyer and his sons Jordan Vigil Jr. and Joseph Romero.
