Remembering Jenny Lin 18 Years Later

An 18th Anniversary remembrance service will be held May 25 to serve as a reminder that Jenny's murder is still unsolved, and that child crime prevention must continue to be forefront in people's mind

Please join us in remembering Jennifer Han-chi Lin for her 18th anniversary. As Jenny’s parents, as we continue searching relentlessly for justice and working tirelessly with friends and volunteers on building a safer and more caring community.

To this date, although a murder suspect has been identified for several years, there is still no sign of prosecution or conviction of the murderer, but we never give up hope, and continue working closely with the law enforcement agencies to try to bring this case to a closure.

Following the anniversary ceremony, we plan to do a candlelight walk in downtown Castro Valley near the . This event will serve as a reminder to the community that Jenny’s murder is still unsolved, and that child crime prevention must continue to be forefront in people’s mind. In conjunction with the anniversary service, the Jenny Lin Foundation is setting up a safety awareness table at the Castro Valley Library to display child safety information materials for two weeks around Jenny's anniversary (May 21 to June 2, 2012).
